About

I was born and raised in Andalucia, Spain and have enjoyed drawing cartoons and comics for as long as I can remember. My parents have always supported me as they are both also artists and art teachers.

In addition to art, my second passion in life would have to be video games. I was fortunate enough to have been exposed in my youth to the golden era of video games and they have always been a part of my life in some form or another. So in 2007, I decided to combine both of my passions by enrolling the Arts and Design degree at the University of Granada.

In 2011, I graduated after finishing my degree, including a year abroad in Leicester (UK), where I specialised in digital media.

After my degree I decided I wanted to learn more about game art, so I did a Masters at Glasgow School of Art in Scotland. This Masters focused on 3D design including, animation, modelling and texturing characters, objects and environments. I also learned about scriptwriting, storyboarding and theory of film making and animation.

I moved to London after my graduation and I landed my first job in the game Industry at GamAR, working on an augmented reality project for the British Museum where I was able to use all my skills.

After many projects with different museums around London I got a new job working as lead game artist at Hopster where I have been creating and designing educational games for kids for the past 4 years, including the award winning game “Coding Safari”.
